I’ve always been excited by educational content for science and technology so I was eager to help out with the Science Forward video series. I received voice over for the animation section on “The Challenge of Food” and took inspiration in the line about a back of the envelope calculation. I made use of paper textures and security patterns found on the inside of most envelopes. I was going for a clean modern feel that I thought would compliment the series.

After I finished designing and animating for “The Challenge of Food” video, I was asked to do another animation section on an earlier video called “What is Science?” For this video I designed a simple iconic look that could help convey the abstract ideas of the peer review process and animated it in an infographic way.
